First up, we’d like to announce an innovative strategy with our staff schedules. Due to all the hard work we’ve put in to bring you all excellent service, our staff is in need of some down time. For three days this month (10/17, 10/18, and 10/19), we’ll be opening later in the day @5pm and close @11pm. The idea is to do this 2-3 times a year to give our staff more needed down time.

 

Now to our events!

This month, Unfinity launches on the 7th! You’ll be able to pick up preordered boxes at open!

We’ll be hosting drafts on Friday the 7th @7pm, Sunday the 9th @Noon, and Wednesday the 12th @7pm for our Weekly Wednesday Draft.

Entry is $20, each entrant will receive a promo Foil Water Balloon Gun Game! 

Wizards of the Coast also brings more from the Universes Beyond with a Warhammer 40k Launch Party on 9th!

Picking up a deck gets you one Warhammer 40k promo foil Fabricate while supplies last.

 We’ll also be hosting a Warhammer 40k Commander Launch Party on Sunday the 9th from Noon to 6pm. If you bought your Warhammer 40k deck from us, you can compete against other players with unaltered Warhammer 40k decks in 3 rounds of 1v1 commanders games. Participants will receive another Fabricate promo (while supplies last) as well as one non foil promo pack from a previous set for each win.

 

We’re hosting a Dominaria United Store Championship on the 23rd @Noon. The format will be Modern with cut to TOP 8.

Registration begins @11am. Deck lists are required so please bring one with you or come early to fill one out.

The first 64 entrants will receive a non foil promo Spell Pierce, TOP 8 will receive a foil promo Gilded Goose, and winner will receive a textless foil promo Omnath, Locus of Mana! Tickets are available for preorder here.

The Ladies Magic Lounge returns this month on the 26th @7pm.

From 7pm to 10pm, you can enjoy a night of fun and make new friends! Be sure to bring your magic decks. If you don't have one, or would like to try something different, we'll have a few available to borrow. This event will be run by our Assistant Manager, Sham! The private room in the back is reserved for this event so we have a limit of 7 people. Please call ahead to reserve a spot.

We’re also making some changes to Friday Night Magic. In addition to FNM:Draft, we’ll be hosting FNM: Modern instead of Pioneer.

We’ll be handing out promo packs during these events so be sure to stay til the end of each event to see if you win. Not only will you get the regular prize support, players with a 3-0 record will get a foil Dominaria United promo pack, and we’ll randomize the winners for 3 non foil packs! Stay tuned for an updated Pioneer schedule later this month.

This month we’ll also be hosting a special costume party during one of our Commander Leagues. On Thursday the 27th, Commander League players will be able to vote for winners in a mini costume contest. We’ll have a few prizes so check in next week for more information/!
